Abstract
Observed were 4 new particularly demonstrative cases [in humans]. There is a possible association of ichthyosis linearis circumflexa with familial epileptogenous encephalopathy. A particular type of trichorrhexis named frayed pili torti may also be an associated feature. The usual lethality in males, with possible serious viral and pyococcic superinfection and the characteristics of ichthyosiform erythroderma in Netherton''s syndrome should be noted. Classification of Netherton''s syndrome and ichthyosis linearis circumflexa as the same disease should be adopted. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
