Abstract
Experience with the application of silicone resins is described, including laboratory tests on materials and coils, as well as laboratory tests on rotating apparatus. Practical problems regarding the use of these materials are discussed and recommendations made for obtaining an adequate high-temperature insulation. Thermal aging tests are reported and recommendations made as to tentative temperature limits for general rating and application purposes. Keywords
