Abstract
Sixty‐four cases of complete rectal prolapse have been treated by the Teflon sling operation since 1969. One case has recurred. No sepsis has occurred. Approximately 80% of patients followed are totally continent. This relatively simple operation seems to be the procedure of choice in this disease. Keywords
