Unsuspected Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma in Secondary Rhinoplasty

Abstract
A 22-year-old woman underwent secondary nasal surgery to correct a deformity found to result from adenoid cystic carcinoma. This possibility should be considered in any rhinoplasty patient. A plea is made to examine grossly and microscopically all tissue removed in the course of a rhinoplasty or septal operation in order to detect an occult malignancy.
