Abstract
Data concerning the measurements on major linear body dimensions in a sample of thousand adult males drawn from the five tribal groups (BG, BP, PG, OG, and KP) are reconsidered to describe the differences in population structure in five tribal populations of Orissa (India). Kinship coefficients are estimated and consequently Analyzed in respect to isolation by distance, using Malecot’s model. The major conclusions reached through this analysis seem to be in concordance withthose obtained through phenotypic bioassay of the same populations. Keywords
