Plasmodium inui in Sulawesi

Abstract

Plasmodium inui is reported from Cynopithecus niger. This is the first recorded from this host and from a new locality, the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. This is also the first record of simian malaria from east of Wallace''s line.
