Abstract
Wheat germ, wheat germ oil, and alpha tocopherol protect against the nutritional muscular dystrophy that can be produced in guinea pigs reared on the Madsen, McCay and Maynard cod liver oil-containing diet. It would, therefore, seem apparent that when the vitamin B complex is adequately supplied, vitamin E is the specific factor preventing nutritional muscular dystrophy. Keywords
