Abstract
The contributions of order to the scattering of two electrically charged nonidentical fermions are evaluated. The corrections to the graviton-fermion vertex are finite, and those to the photon-fermion vertex diverge, while the sum of all ultraviolet divergences is proportional to the Born amplitude. No infrared divergences are present in the cross section. The scalar-photon-graviton system is also investigated, with similar conclusions.
