Analysis of the decayZ→e+μ−in supersymmetric theories

In the context of supersymmetric theories we study the process $Z\to e^{+}{\mu }^{-}$ and the constraint on its rate arising from the experimental limit on $\Gamma (\mu \to e\gamma )$. For all choices of the parameters we find $B(Z\to e^{+}{\mu }^{-})$ much smaller than previously estimated in the literature and far below the detectability limits.
