Abstract
New data on the reaction at are presented. The experimental distributions are analyzed in terms of a double-peripheral Regge-pole model. The events were assigned to two dominant diagrams using the Van Hove angle. These diagrams, involving Pomeranchuk and meson exchanges, provide a good description of the reaction without additional form factors of the momentum transfer.
