Abstract
It was found that a new PD-NMR technique, HMBC (Heteronuclear me Bond Connectivity) was an extremely useful technique for structural analysis of complicated molecules with many methyl groups such as polypropionate d erived metabolites and terpenes. In addition, HMBC proved to be a method of choice for structural investigtyon of peptide substances. Its application for structural analysis or C-NMR spectral assignments of erythromycin, lycoclavanol , capuramycin and complestatin is described in this paper. Keywords
