Abstract
The angular distribution of a () resonance reaction leading to an excited target state allows an unambiguous determination of the spin of the resonance. As an example we investigate isobaric analog resonances in decaying to the 1.30-MeV state in and discuss the weak-coupling nature of their parent states in , based upon the spin assignments made.
