Abstract
PARASTICTODORA, allied to Stictodora, is based on P. hancocki which develops in the small intestine of chicks. Natural hosts probably are piscivorous birds. Sporocysts, rediae, and cercariae develop in the digestive gland of the marine snail, Cerithidea californica. Metacercariae develop in the fishes, Fundulus p. parvipinnis and Gillichthys mirabilis.
