Abstract
Clays were shown to absorb aflatoxin B1. The amount of adsorbed aflatoxin depended on the nature of clay. The adsorbing power of the clays was determined in relation to some environmental factors. Clays may be suitable for detoxification of liquid food-stuffs poisoned by aflatoxin.
