Abstract
Variable proportions of [image]/10 citric acid and [image]/5 anhydrous Na2HPO4 in 25% methanol serve as buffers which improve the staining of mucus after formaldehyde fixation. The corresponding ratios of [image]/10 citric acid:[image]/5 Na2HPO4 are 16:4 to 14:6 and 20:0 to 14:6, respectively. Stains used were toluidine blue O, thionin and a new methylene blue N.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
