Abstract
A survey of trematodes of the genus Heterophyes of Egyptian vertebrates revealed new definitive and new fish intermediate hosts for each of 3 species of Heterophyes studied. New definitive hosts for Heterophyes heterophyes are: Felis chaus nilotica, Vulpes vulpes aegyptiaca, and Canis aureus lupaster. New hosts for H. aequalis are: Rattus rattus, Felis chaus nilotica, and Canis aureus lupaster, and for H. dispar: Milvus migrans aegyptius, Felis chaus nilotica, Vulpes vulpes aegyptiaca and Canis aureus lupaster. Two species of fishes, Solea vulgaris and Sciaena aquilla. are reported as new intermediate hosts for Heterophyes heterophyes. H. aequalis and H. dispar. Keywords
