Abstract
The successful treatment of a localized stenosis of the infrarenal abdominal aorta [in humans] with balloon angioplasty is described. Three balloons overlap and expand simultaneously in the lesion to approximate more closely the circular contour of the aorta. The postdilatation angiogram showed less residual stenosis after the 3-balloon approach than after the 2-balloon technique. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
