Abstract
Rhusflavanone(1), a new biflavanone from the seed-kernels of wax-tree, Rhus succedanea L. (Anacardiaceae), has been identified as 4′,4‴,5,5″,7,7″-hexahydroxy-6,8″-biflavanone (6,8″-binaringenin) by i.r., u.v., n.m.r., and mass spectroscopy and by conversion into agathisflavone derivatives. Keywords
