Disaggregation Effects On Hematoporphyrin Derivative In The Presence Of Surfactants At Different Concentrations: Temperature Dependence

Abstract
Time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy on Hematoporphyrin derivative in buffer at different concentrations of surfactants demonstrated disaggregation effects induced by the presence of these molecules. New molecular species were detected, with fluorescence decay times of ~ 0.7 and ~ 2.7 ns. Configurational changes were observed in covalently bound dimers. The reversibility of this phenomenon was evidenced by measurements at different temperatures.
