Abstract
An egg candler with a powerful prefocused light has been found to work well for transillumination of eyes following enucleation. Transillumination is recommended as a routine step in the pathological study of all enucleated eyes to recognize and localize ocular tumors and foreign bodies as well as many other types of eye disease. Keywords
