Abstract
In connection with experiments which have been carried out and are planned, we have calculated the violation of parity conservation due to neutral weak currents for transitions to the first excited states of and . A Green's-function technique is used to evaluate the parity-nonconserving transition matrix. The dependence of the results on various input data (e.g., the Weinberg angle) is discussed.
