Abstract
In the method presented the load flow equations are divided into two groups. An algorithm is developed where the first group is handled by a Point Jacobi method and the second group by Newton's method. Experimental evidence indicates that the algorithm achieves significant savings in storage and computation requirements over the use of Newton's method on both groups of equations. Keywords
