Magnetic double resonance studies of some methyltin alkane- and benzene-thiolates

Abstract
1 H, 13C, and 119Sn n.m.r. parameters for the series of methyltin alkane- and benzene-thiolates Me4 –nSn(SR)n, where n= 1–4, and R = Me, Et, Pri, But, and Ph, are reported and discussed in terms of the electronic structures of the molecules, with particular reference to the factors affecting the 119Sn chemical shift.
