Abstract
The leaves of Solanum dulcamara were found to contain two polar sterol fractions. The more polar fraction contains the galactosids of cholesterol, brassi–casterol, campesterol, stigmasterol and β–sitosterol, the less polar fraction the palmitic acid esters of those galactosids.
