Abstract
The tumor, 3.75 cm. in diam., occupying most of the trigone, submucosal in position, was encapsulated and separated from the prostate gland. Its histology was characteristic of benign prostatic hypertrophy. It is believed to represent an hypertrophy of congenitally misplaced prostatic tissue. Features pertaining to tumors of trigonal mucosal glands, with which it might be confused, were lacking.
