Abstract
Thirty cases of bacteremia, all in gynecologic and obstetric patients, was documented over a 4-yr period at a university hospital. Sixteen of the patients had polymicrobial infections. Most of the patients recovered completely whether or not antimicrobial therapy directed against G. vaginalis was given. G. vaginalis bacteremia may occur more often than has been reported. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
