Abstract
The shape and orientation of NaF particles in NaCl crystals have been examined. The phases have the same orientation and {111} habit planes are preferred. Similar orientations also appear to exist between phases in the eutectic mixtures LiF–NaF and NaCl–NaF.Keywords
