Abstract
A method of crystallizing myoglobin from aqueous extracts of human muscle is described. These extracts are adjusted to pH8 and made 100% saturated with ammonium sulfate to precipitate hemoglobin and other contaminating proteins. After adjustment of the supernate of pH 7 myoglobin crystallizes on standing. Keywords
