Abstract
The proneness of mental irritability, epilepsy, migraine and myasthenia gravis to be particularly pronounced during the premenstrual phase is briefly recalled. Attention is called to similar behavior with regard to multiple sclerosis, pulseless disease, arterio-venous aneurysms of the head, and meningiomas. Representative cases are quoted illustrating the matter. The question whether a corresponding phenomenon occasionally may be met with in males is touched upon briefly.
