Highly accurate resistance deviation to frequency converter with programmable sensitivity and resolution

Abstract
A circuit is presented which allows for highly accurate and linear conversion of resistance deviation to frequency. The sensitivity and resolution of the circuit are easily programmable by component selection. A test of the converter demonstrates that sensitivities of one part in 105 are easily obtained using standard electronic components. Use of higher quality components would provide for even greater sensitivity.
