Abstract
The stilbene derivatives were as effective as estrone in stimulating development of the immature rabbit uterus and in sensitizing it to progesterone. Neither showed pro-gestin-like activity. After subcut. implantation, both compounds inhibited growth of the body, gonads, seminal vesicles, and prostates, but to different degrees. Treatment with either compound resulted in increased pituitary wt., with no change in the adrenals. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
