Abstract
Particles in the atmosphere greatly affect climate change and cause health problems and difficulties for high technology manufacturing. In his Perspective, Peter describes a new method for particulate measurements developed by Noble and Prather and reported in Environmental Science and Technology. The method allows in situ mass spectrometer studies of individual particles sampled from the atmosphere.Keywords
