Abstract
Ascorbic acid pretreatment did not alter the lymphocyte response, or the neutrophil response of normal and adrenalectomized rats to stress. The ascorbic acid pretreatment prevented the eosinopenia of stress in intact rats, and delayed the stressor-induced increase of eosinophils in adrenalectomized rats.Keywords
