Abstract
Malnourished and difficult-to-feed patients have benefited significantly from hyperalimentation. Since the Dobbhoff feeding tube was introduced by Dobbie and Hoffmeister enteric hyperalimentation was faciliated. A technique was described that allows accurate and immediate placement of this tube into the duodenum or jejunum. The technique is a modification of a method in which a duodenal tube is positioned for hypotonic duodenography. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
