A Statistical Review of 100 Cases of Fracture of the Carpal Navicular Bone

Abstract
Fracture of the carpal navicular bone is the most common injury to the carpus. Numerous articles have been written discussing the prognosis and the treatment of this fracture and its complications. This study was undertaken to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment of fractures of this bone as performed at the McBride Clinic and Bone and Joint Hospital over a period of time including the years 1944 through 1960.
