Abstract
Langerhans cells at the site of patch test to inhaled allergens in patients with atopic dermatitis were investigated. Within 24 h the Langerhans cells showed increased cellular activity and became apposed to mononuclear cells. This supports the view that Langerhans cells are involved in antigen presentation in atopic dermatitis. Keywords
