Abstract
A theory based upon the hypernetted-chain approximation is presented for dipolar hard spheres. The integral equation is solved as a power series in a small parameter λ which is related to the dipole moment. The pair correlation function and thermodynamic properties are calculated. It is shown that the pair correlation function has a component that decreases as 1/r 3.Keywords
