Abstract
In this final paper in our series on the vibrations of disordered harmonic lattices, we display and discuss the normal-mode spectra for systems other than the binary isotopically disordered systems with which our two preceding papers were concerned. The effects of continuous random mass and force-constant distributions and short-range order are studied. Frequency spectra for mixed alkali-halide lattices, ternary disordered linear chains, and simple cubic lattices have been calculated. The results are exhibited as histograms for the frequency spectra. Keywords
