Abstract
The viscosity, density, and surface tension of liquid fluorine and their dependence on temperature have been measured. The change in viscosity with temperature indicates that fluorine behaves as a normal liquid in the region studied. The results of the measurement of the density confirm a new much larger value for this property than previously accepted. Measurements of the surface tension given in this paper are in substantial agreement with values reported earlier in the literature if these early values are adjusted by means of the density determinations made by the authors. Keywords
