Abstract
While missile emboli are common, embolization from the chest to the middle cerebral artery circulation is infrequent. In this case, the diagnosis of neurologic impairment was delayed due to endotracheal intubation. Some patients with multiple thoracic pellet wounds may warrant repeated radiologic examination to investigate the possibility of continued missile embolization.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
