Abstract
A sensitive method was modified by using a combination of a slotted silica tube atom trap and an enrichment procedure for the determination of cadmium and lead in human urine. The enrichment method involves the collection of Cd and Pb chelates synthesized by using cupferron on activated carbon. Urine samples were taken from accumulator workers and control groups. The detection limits obtained for cadmium and lead were 0.03 and 0.27 µg L –1 , respectively.
