Abstract
The fluorescence spectra of many cancer-producing substances show the same bands at wave-lengths 4000, 4180 and 4400 A. These bands are quite similar to those of the fluorescence spec-trum of 1: 2-benzanthracene. The absorption spectra in the ultra-violet lend support to the view that there is some connection between the cancer-producing substances and 1: 2-benzanthracene.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
