Abstract
In cats, cortically induced movement of the legs was inhibited by stimulation of the retromammillary area of the brain stem. Stimulation of the retromammillary region also inhibited a flexor reflex, but either failed to alter or, in some expts., slightly facilitated, the patellar reflex. Keywords
