Abstract
New insights into the mechanism of chain growth and phase formation in electropolymerization are expected from the work on ultrathin films described here. The Figure shows that the very rapid electrochemical polymerization of a thiophene derivative that occurs inside a multilayered assembly of a cellulose derivative on an electrode can be used as the basis of an imaging process. magnified imageKeywords
