Abstract
The transition from itinerant antiferromagnetic behavior in UNiAl to ferromagnetism in UNiGa was studied by means of magnetic and specific-heat measurements on the pseudoternary series UNi(Al,Ga). The results are discussed in terms of a trend to increasing localization of the 5f electrons when proceeding to higher Ga concentrations. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
