Abstract
Development of ova was more rapid in water than in air cultures (90% relative humidity), and also there was a larger percentage of viable ova. These larvae, when experimentally fed to chickens, revealed no significant difference between the numbers of worms, but the worms from air-cultured ova grew at a significantly faster rate than those from water-cultured ova. The larvae from the 2 types of cultures showed no differences in virulence as indicated by weight gains made by the chickens to which they were fed. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
