Abstract
The method of holographic interferometry is applied to the exploration of the static meniscus at an air–water interface inside a cylindrical tube. Analysis of the interference patterns permits formulation of an empirical equation describing the surface near the axis of the tube and the examination of certain properties of the surface. Keywords
