Abstract
Discusses the stopping power of Lucite (polymethyl methacrylate, (C5O2H8)n) in comparison with several gases of the same composition. It is concluded that the solid-gas difference in stopping power exceeds its uncertainty considerably, and should therefore be considered to be well established. Keywords
