Abstract
In this paper we present a detailed experimental verification of the existence of four independent invariants for the nuclear spin system in a single crystal of gypsum oriented in the magnetic field in such a way that all the protons are spectroscopically equivalent and that the rf absorption spectrum gives a single well-separated doublet. Keywords
