Abstract
Values of the distribution functions and thermodynamic properties for the square‐well fluid are obtained from the Percus‐Yevick theory. Results are reported mainly for high densities and low temperatures and so complement the previously reported results of Levesque and Tago, which were obtained at high temperatures and lower densities. The energy equation of state is found to give the best agreement with the simulation results. Keywords
